Moscow Walks
If you want to get a feel for what Moscow looks and feels like now, there is a great YouTube channel called: Timelapse Trail. The videographer(s) film the walk and then put a speeded up version onto Youtube. Smoochy music has been added to dubious effect. Simple and effective. It is not clear who made these videos but they follow walking routes around Moscow; some known and some unknown, and not only in the tarted-up central areas. The whole of Moscow has changed considerably over the past ten years to the extent that some streets/areas are unrecognizable to old timers like me.
